Her Excellency the President of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, Dr. Enas bint Sulaiman Al-Issa, received on Tuesday, 28 January 2025, at the University headquarters, Her Excellency Ms. Julia Kronlid, the Second Deputy Speaker of the Swedish Parliament, along with her accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by Her Excellency the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ms. Petra Menander. During the meeting, topics of mutual interest in the fields of education and research were discussed. The discussion also reviewed the University’s efforts in contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals, developing an academic environment that fosters creativity and innovation, and highlighting its role in empowering women and youth, as well as achieving academic and research excellence. The visit included a tour of the University campus, during which Her Excellency the Second Deputy Speaker of the Swedish Parliament and her delegation were introduced to the University’s facilities, including the Natural and Health Sciences Research Center, the Central Library, and the Noura Driving School. This meeting reflects Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s commitment to contributing to the development of sustainable communities through strategic relationships with international institutions and organizations.
