The Deanship of Scientific Research and Libraries at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University is participating in the Cairo International Book Fair 2025, which runs until 5 February 2025. The participation aims to highlight the University’s role in developing cultural and literary capacities, enriching scientific and cultural content, and showcasing the scholarly output of University affiliates, ultimately contributing to national knowledge advancement. The Deanship’s participation is represented by an informational pavilion that displays approximately (125) titles of intellectual production by University affiliates across diverse academic fields and disciplines, including Arabic language, history, literature, arts, fashion, antiquities, Saudi novels, and environmental and botanical sciences. The Deanship’s pavilion also introduces visitors and interested attendees to Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University and its educational and community services, including an overview of its colleges and institutes, in addition to the services of the Central Library. Dr. Badriya Al-Buseiri, Vice Dean for Library Affairs at the Deanship of Scientific Research and Libraries, explained that participating in the Cairo International Book Fair 2025 strengthens the University’s standing locally and internationally, extends its knowledge-based role, and showcases publications by University affiliates aligned with the disciplines offered across its colleges. The participation also provides an opportunity to connect with international publishing houses taking part in the fair—supporting the knowledge and cultural economy advanced by the University. This participation reflects the Deanship’s contribution to achieving Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025 objectives by building bridges of communication with local and global communities, supporting the research and innovation ecosystem, and reinforcing women’s participation and leadership in the national development journey.
