Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University signed an executive program with Durham University in the United Kingdom to enhance academic and research cooperation and promote mutual understanding. The signing was attended by Her Excellency the President of the University, Dr. Inas Al-Issa, and Durham University’s representative, Professor of Energy Systems and Director of the Durham Energy Institute, Dr. Tony Roskilly, during a visit by a delegation from the British Council and representatives of UK universities. The program aims to strengthen cooperation in developing educational programs, research, talent development, and innovation across key fields to address global challenges and contribute to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. The agreement includes collaboration in research in archaeology and cultural heritage, sports sciences, arts, humanities, linguistics, energy transition, student and cultural exchange, teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, teaching English to University students and faculty, summer programs, student visits, and joint participation in sports competitions. This agreement supports shared goals in education, research, discovery, and expanding cooperation opportunities for faculty and students, strengthening long-term relations between the two universities.
