The College of Designs and Arts at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University launched, today, Thursday, 12 December 2024, the “Nabtakir 5” Exhibition, showcasing the projects of the fifth graduating cohort from the Product Design Department, at the college’s premises. Held over two days, the exhibition highlights the knowledge and skills acquired by the graduating students throughout their academic journey, demonstrating their ability to design contemporary and creative solutions through (43) innovative projects across several vital fields, including sustainability, agriculture, health, transportation, technology, and user services. The exhibition supports building communication bridges and exchanging expertise and knowledge between graduates and the local community, as well as fostering partnerships between the academic and industrial sectors. This is achieved by providing graduates with opportunities to engage with exhibition visitors, including employers and professionals interested in the fields of arts and design, while showcasing diversity and innovation in ideas and designs, serving as a launchpad toward the labor market. The exhibition aligns with the roles of the College of Designs and Arts in contributing to the achievement of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025, by preparing competitive competencies, enhancing the research and innovation environment in product design, activating diverse partnerships toward excellence, and supporting women to become leaders in the national development journey.
