The University Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs, represented by the Deanship of Development and Quality at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, concluded the site visit activities and virtual sessions conducted by the external review team mandated by the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (NCAAA), under the Education and Training Evaluation Commission. This took place as part of the requirements to complete the procedures for renewing institutional accreditation. The visit aimed to review the University’s colleges and facilities and follow up on preparations and operational activities to ensure that the necessary measures have been taken to achieve the intended objectives efficiently and effectively. Remote sessions were held by the Center’s reviewers to conduct final interviews with University affiliates and participating stakeholders such as alumnae and employers. The interviews focused on discussing several areas related to the consistency of the institutional self-study report with the University’s characteristics and operational activities, and the extent of alignment with the institutional accreditation standards issued by the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation. These procedures fall within the framework of the institutional accreditation renewal agreement signed between Princess Nourah University and the Education and Training Evaluation Commission in February. They represent preparatory steps to enable the University to obtain renewed institutional accreditation, reflecting the continuity of PNU’s development momentum and confirming the efficiency of its academic programs and their alignment with development requirements and global standards. Institutional accreditation supports the University’s achievement and maintenance of the highest quality standards across its educational, research, and community operations, and strengthens its efforts to continue its path toward global leadership and excellence in building a knowledge society. It is worth noting that Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University obtained institutional accreditation in May 2018, which will expire on 30 April 2025, reflecting the University’s approved vision, mission, and strategic plan linked to national directions.
