Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University and Rotana for Artistic Production signed yesterday, Monday, 18 November 2024, a cooperation agreement to develop students’ skills in cinema and drama production through practical training and field experiences. The agreement was signed in the presence of Her Excellency the President of the University, Dr. Inas bint Sulaiman Al-Issa, and the CEO of Rotana Media Group, Her Royal Highness Princess Lamia bint Majed Al Saud. The cooperation areas include supporting various specializations related to film industry development through gaining experience in local and international productions, cooperative training, connecting students with professional practitioners, utilizing resources and facilities, and organizing workshops. The agreement also includes partnership in implementing research projects, participation in local and international events, and supporting projects and activities across the various specialized fields. The signing of this agreement is aligned with Princess Nourah University’s strategy to strengthen partnerships between the University and the private sector, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and contributing to Sustainable Development Goals through empowering students, developing their professional capabilities, and preparing them to compete in local and international labor markets.
