The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University is organizing the first edition of the “Inspirational Entrepreneurship” Forum to promote a culture of innovation and support entrepreneurs, particularly women in the Kingdom, within the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week. The forum will take place on Tuesday, 19 November 2024, at the University Conference and Convention Center. Organized in cooperation with the Saudi Businesswomen Association, the “Inspirational Entrepreneurship” Forum represents an important step toward achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by contributing to strengthening the women’s entrepreneurship ecosystem, developing women’s capacity to enter business and innovation fields, and increasing access to entrepreneurial opportunities within the Saudi market. The forum provides an interactive platform for more than 1,500 visitors from various groups, including students and graduates, entrepreneurs, and specialists, to connect, exchange expertise and knowledge, strengthen the entrepreneurship sector, and encourage an innovation culture. It is attended by supporting entities from various sectors, and it brings investors and funding institutions together under one roof to facilitate access to appropriate financing for project owners and entrepreneurs. The forum aims to enrich the women’s entrepreneurship environment, enhance women’s developmental participation, and raise awareness of the dimensions of women’s empowerment in commerce and business. It also highlights successful experiences and inspiring stories that strengthen women’s role within the entrepreneurship ecosystem, expands professional networks, and opens new horizons for creating entrepreneurial opportunities for startups. The forum program includes a range of activities, events, panel discussions, specialized workshops, accompanying exhibitions, and business clinics designed to stimulate growth and broaden entrepreneurial opportunities. It also features investment pitches, where projects of “Code Lab” incubatees at Princess Nourah University are presented to investors to facilitate access to the funding needed to support these projects. It is worth noting that Global Entrepreneurship Week is a worldwide event celebrated by institutions and organizations to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, encourage entrepreneurs—especially youth—to start their own businesses, and create a broad network that drives positive and inspiring impact, fostering an enabling and supportive entrepreneurship environment.
