The Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University announced the opening of registration for the “Diploma in Teaching Arabic” program for the second semester of the academic year 1446 AH, until 12 January 2025. The program aims to qualify students linguistically and enable them to pursue studies at Arab universities by developing proficiency in Standard Arabic and its core skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. It also seeks to enable correct language use in various situations, develop learners’ ability to employ modern technological tools and skills in teaching Arabic, and introduce Arabic culture within the framework of human values. The program represents an opportunity to learn Arabic for non-native speakers who are not covered by internal or external scholarship systems. It follows a continuous semester-based system over two academic years, and upon completion, the student receives a diploma certificate in Arabic for non-native speakers. This initiative comes within the Institute’s efforts to contribute to the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025 through focusing on providing high-quality education and enhancing university education by adopting global best practices in teaching and learning, instructional methods, and blended e-learning.
