Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, represented by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, is participating in the “Biban 24” Forum, organized by the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at), running until Saturday, 9 November 2024. The forum focuses on empowering the Kingdom’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and provides a platform that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and decision-makers at both the local and international levels. The University’s participation is showcased through an informational pavilion for the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, highlighting the Center’s role in promoting and spreading a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship through initiatives and training programs delivered to the University community and entrepreneurs. The pavilion also introduces visitors to the Center’s services, the services of Princess Nourah University’s Code Lab, and the أبرز (most notable) startups incubated within the Lab. During the forum, the Center is presenting the projects of 10 startups incubated in Code Lab, namely: “Mawaeid,” “Vuja De Innovation,” “Digital Papers,” “Sanam,” “Athar,” “Agence,” “RAS,” “Hadayaai,” “Reskala,” and “Hostech.” These startups operate across several fields, most notably: artificial intelligence and digital technologies, healthcare, business administration and financial services, media, hospitality, and livestock management. It is worth noting that the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Princess Nourah University is a specialized hub dedicated to supporting and empowering students and University affiliates in particular, and Saudi women in general, in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship, strengthening their role in the national development journey. The Center undertakes several responsibilities, including supporting intellectual property rights and patents, and promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center’s participation in the “Biban 24” Forum comes as part of its contribution to achieving the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025 by building bridges of communication with local and global communities in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation, and by providing opportunities for the University’s students and graduates to transform innovative ideas and entrepreneurial projects into real employment opportunities.
