The Saudi Scientific Society for Psychological Counseling at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University received accreditation from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities and programs, covering the period from October 2024 to October 2027. This accreditation affirms the Society’s commitment to delivering high-quality programs aligned with national and international standards, and encourages its continued efforts to develop and enhance the qualifications of professionals in the field of psychological counseling. The Society has previously organized a number of forums, courses, workshops, and lectures that contributed to the professional and personal development of its target audiences, including “Psychological Counseling in the Cyber World,” “Psychological Counseling in Times of Crises and Disasters,” and “Positive Psychology: Our Path to Mental Well-being.” This achievement contributes to Princess Nourah University’s Strategic Plan 2025 by supporting institutional enablers for excellence, stability, and sustainability, and by promoting a university environment that supports health and well-being.
