The Deanship of Graduate Studies at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University is organizing the First Saudi Graduate Studies Forum, titled “The Future of Graduate Studies in Light of Saudi Vision 2030,” during the period from October 21 to 23, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Professor Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyen, and with the attendance of several leaders from the education sector, institutions, and Saudi authorities. The forum will be held at the University’s Conference and Seminar Center. The forum aims to enhance awareness of graduate programs available in the Kingdom, including graduate programs at Princess Nourah University and its distinguished partnerships, encourage the pursuit of higher education, and achieve effective communication among students, male and female graduates, faculty members, researchers, and university admissions officials. It also seeks to foster cooperation between universities and relevant institutions, and to strengthen relationships in research, education, and student exchange. The Dean of Graduate Studies at Princess Nourah University, Dr. Maha bint Mishaal Al-Rasheed, explained that the First Saudi Graduate Studies Forum aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in the fields of education, research, and the qualification of leaders capable of innovation. She stated: “The forum represents a platform for discussing all matters related to graduate programs, exchanging experiences among graduate students, academics, and decision-makers, and learning about job opportunities available for graduates of graduate programs. It also contributes to encouraging public and private institutions interested in studies and research to support research projects and provide excellence scholarships for graduate students.” The forum’s first day includes a scientific seminar to discuss key issues related to graduate programs in the Kingdom, the launch of the Noura Graduate Studies Platform, and an open exhibition for universities, institutions, and authorities. The exhibition will continue for three days and allows students and those interested in graduate studies to communicate directly with university representatives. The First Saudi Graduate Studies Forum comes as part of the Deanship of Graduate Studies’ contributions to achieving the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025, by building bridges of communication with local and global communities, supporting the research and innovation ecosystem, and promoting Saudi women’s participation in social and cultural development.
