The Deanship of Student Affairs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University will organize the TEDxPNU Conference next Saturday, September 28, 2024, with the participation of a distinguished group of speakers from among the sons and daughters of the nation, who will share their inspiring stories and experiences. The conference will be held at the University’s Conference and Seminar Center. The conference will launch under the theme “The Beginning of the Story,” reflecting the importance of beginnings in shaping any successful journey. It focuses on three key areas: Artificial Intelligence, Storytelling, and Cybersecurity, aiming to provide female students with the opportunity to benefit from the speakers’ experiences and expertise across these fields, enhance their capabilities, and draw inspiration from success stories in both academic and professional paths. The conference seeks to highlight the values of identity, character, and Saudi culture on global TED platforms, and to strengthen the partnership between the University and TED as one of the leading conferences for spreading innovative and impactful ideas worldwide. It also aligns with the objectives of the Human Capability Development Program under Saudi Vision 2030, which encourages investment in national talents and competencies. The conference promotes a culture of learning from the journey itself, with a focus on personal growth and transformative experiences. It includes an accompanying exhibition showcasing up to 34 projects prepared by University students, reflecting the concept of “The Beginning of the Story” across the three conference themes.
