The College of Science at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University will organize the Scientific Career Day Forum and its accompanying Partners Exhibition during September 25–26, 2024, targeting graduates from all universities. The event will take place at the University’s Conference and Seminar Center. The forum aims to provide an educational and guidance-oriented environment in the fields of basic sciences, strengthen relationships between the College of Science and governmental and private entities, and enhance cooperation and employment opportunities in line with Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to provide promising job opportunities for female students. It also enables employers to introduce their activities, empowers students to understand the importance of their specializations and their relevance to the labor market, explore successful entrepreneurship models, and benefit from inspiring professional experiences. The forum includes a variety of professional programs and activities, such as career qualification workshops, scientific sessions discussing future-oriented topics, and an accompanying exhibition with the participation of up to 15 governmental and private employment entities, providing specialized career guidance and introducing available training and employment opportunities, while encouraging innovation and scientific thinking. Graduates of the College of Science will present 25 scientific posters reflecting their graduation projects in basic science disciplines (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematical Sciences), addressing various topics related to technology and scientific advancement through experiments and new theories, under the supervision of faculty members and researchers. The Scientific Career Day Forum and its accompanying program represent a first step toward the professional gateway for specialists in basic sciences, offering a productive meeting opportunity between employment and training representatives and graduates entering the labor market, enabling them to plan their future career paths. The forum aligns with the College of Science’s role in achieving the objectives of the Princess Nourah University Strategic Plan 2025, which focuses on preparing competitive competencies for the labor market by building scientific and educational capacities, enhancing skills, knowledge, and values, and offering future-oriented academic programs.
