King Abdullah University Hospital Organizes Graduation Ceremony for the First Cohort of the Dental Assistant Program

Under the patronage of Her Excellency the President of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, Dr. Enas bint Sulaiman Al-Issa, the Dental Clinics Department at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz University Hospital organized the graduation ceremony for trainees of the “Dental Assistant Program Leading to Employment,” affiliated with the Health Academy of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, on Monday, September 16, 2024. The graduating cohort consisted of 86 graduates, representing the first cohort of the training center and the seventh cohort within the Health Academy. The ceremony included several segments, featuring a speech by the Program Director, Dr. Dara Al-Sudairi, a speech delivered by one of the graduates, followed by honoring contributors to the program, and concluding with the graduation procession and honoring of graduates. The program provides high-quality clinical training and academic education for graduates of science colleges, contributing to enhancing the efficiency and quality of the healthcare sector and meeting labor market needs, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to build a prosperous and healthy society. The program is supported by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, the Health Academy, the Ministry of Health, and the Localization Agency at the Ministry of Human Resources. Its outcomes are expected to enhance the efficiency of dental healthcare services and improve the quality of care provided to patients. Dental clinics at King Abdullah University Hospital are among the largest training centers in the Kingdom in terms of capacity, reflecting Princess Nourah University’s commitment to providing an advanced educational and training environment that meets market needs. The graduation of the first cohort of the Dental Assistant Program aligns with King Abdullah University Hospital’s contribution to achieving the Princess Nourah University Strategic Plan 2025, which focuses on delivering distinguished educational and training programs, preparing highly qualified national competencies, enhancing healthcare quality, achieving national objectives, and supporting sustainable development.
