The Women’s Leadership Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, launched the “Ministry of Health Female Leaders” Program, targeting 70 female leaders within the Ministry. The program aims to develop leadership skills, enhance self-awareness, align leadership efforts with professional goals, and empower women in middle and senior leadership positions within the healthcare sector. The program, which will continue until the end of December, includes a comprehensive package of training courses and workshops delivered by specialized trainers, focusing on key leadership themes such as leadership fundamentals, organizational and change leadership, team leadership and delegation, negotiation skills, communication skills, leadership stereotypes, professional communication for leaders, and women’s empowerment in the workplace. The program offers a practical learning environment that enables participants to apply theoretical concepts and acquired skills through a graduation project, where participants will be grouped into small teams to collaboratively develop creative and tangible solutions to health-related challenges and issues. By the end of the program, participants will be able to apply effective leadership approaches, enhance self-awareness of strengths and areas for development, manage change effectively, adapt to the evolving demands of the healthcare sector, build supportive peer networks, and expand opportunities for collaboration and professional advancement. The launch of this program reflects the Women’s Leadership Center’s commitment to contributing to the Princess Nourah University Strategic Plan 2025, by strengthening Saudi women’s leadership in national development, highlighting their civilizational role, and supporting female leaders locally and regionally through training, qualification, professional and advisory support, and the development of a professional women leaders community.
