The Applied College at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, in partnership with L’Oréal Saudi Arabia, announced the opening of registration for the “Hair Styling and Care” program for the academic year 1446 AH, until Sunday, 8 September 2024. The program targets holders of a high school diploma or its equivalent. The “Hair Styling and Care” program is an accredited professional program designed to qualify and graduate female professionals in the field of hair styling and care. It includes a theoretical component representing 30% of the training program and a practical, applied component conducted in licensed local salons, representing 70% of the program. The program comprises a total of 800 accredited training hours over a period of six months and includes multiple educational modules aligned with the needs of the local labor market, such as customer service, hair concepts, and solutions to hair-related problems. The program offers a professional certificate in hair styling and care, provides courses in Arabic, and offers employment opportunities in salons affiliated with L’Oréal Saudi Arabia. This program is part of a range of diverse programs offered by the Applied College to contribute to qualifying national female cadres with professional certificates aligned with labor market needs and development objectives, in accordance with Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s 2025 strategic plan to enhance education and training outcomes.
