The Deanship of Student Affairs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University concluded today, Thursday, 22 August 2024, the “Welcome on Board” orientation exhibition for new students of the academic year 1446 AH, held at the university’s recreational center. The exhibition activities continued for two days, guiding students on an academic journey designed to simulate airport terminals, introducing them to services that enhance a productive university life. The free zone included several destinations, such as the Deanship of Admission and Registration, the Student and Career Support Center, the Advisory Council, the Skills Record, Noura Health, and student clubs. As part of the exhibition activities, the Deanship conducted a workshop on registration for the Sumuq Program and completion of pre-assessments. The program focuses on developing students’ skills required for future jobs in light of 21st-century competencies. Additional training workshops addressed identifying career interests, volunteering, optimal use of Blackboard, and the Student Clubs Association. This exhibition contributes to the Deanship of Student Affairs’ efforts to achieve Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s 2025 strategic plan by introducing students to a comprehensive and distinguished university life that integrates academic education with creativity in student activities, supports health and well-being, and prepares them for a successful academic journey.
