The Women’s Leadership Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, in partnership with the Deanship of Student Affairs, launched yesterday, Sunday, 18 August 2024, the “Future Women Leaders” program. The program targets final-year female students at the University, aiming to develop their leadership skills and build a generation capable of contributing to community development. The program introduces fundamental leadership concepts and their contemporary applications, enhances self-awareness, develops interpersonal skills, and builds professional relationships. It also provides students with real-life experiences of leadership tasks in the workplace through experiential learning activities, highlighting women’s impactful role in the future of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Running until Thursday, 17 October 2024, the program presents a leadership journey based on four pillars: the Self, the Journey, Others, and Experience. Each pillar includes various activities, including learning units, assessment tools, training sessions, and participation in dialogues that contribute to preparing students for future leadership roles. The Director of the Women’s Leadership Center, Ms. Eman bint Abdulaziz Al-Sammari, stated: “We seek to prepare a generation of influential young women who are capable of leading change in our communities. The program provides a unique opportunity to develop students’ leadership capabilities, and its design aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 in empowering women leaders.” The program comes within the Women’s Leadership Center’s efforts to contribute to achieving Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s 2025 strategic plan objectives by strengthening Saudi women’s leadership in the national development journey and highlighting their civilizational role. The Center supports women leaders locally and regionally through qualification and training, providing advisory and professional support, and building a professional community of women leaders.
