Deanship of Development and Quality Organizes a Series of Training Programs for Knowledge and Skills Enrichment

The Deanship of Development and Quality at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized a series of training programs targeting University affiliates and those interested in developing training skills, to enable them to deliver training and development and to prepare training packages using sound scientific methods. The Deanship implemented the “Training of Trainers (TOT)” program over six days, covering learning theories and their impact on training, trainers’ various needs, developing communication models and communication skills, designing training material that achieves objectives, explaining the stages of managing the training process, performance evaluation and types of evaluation, developing skills for managing workshops and work sessions and conducting training sessions, and developing trainees’ skills in searching for references related to various topics to support training. The Deanship also delivered the “Training Package Preparation” program over three days, addressing the practical application of preparing a trainee-specific training package, with the aim of becoming familiar with the foundations and quality standards of training packages, including curriculum building, objective formulation, training methods, the training package matrix, and its structuring and types. This comes within the Deanship of Development and Quality’s efforts to contribute to Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s 2025 strategic plan, aimed at excellence in teaching and learning through professional support, career guidance, and knowledge and skills enrichment.
