The Student and Career Support Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University concluded today, Thursday, 11 July 2024, the “Summer Career Guidance Camp” for the University’s female graduates, at the University’s Conference and Seminar Center. Held in partnership with GROWAT, the camp ran for five days and aimed to enhance participants’ job readiness, help them strengthen their understanding of personal traits and self-awareness, develop action plans to address professional challenges, learn how to make career decisions, and provide them with the tools needed to be more effective in performing daily tasks. The camp’s design relied on career development experts, offering a model that combines enjoyment with training and a methodology based on bridging the gap between education and employment by linking personal attributes with the competitive skills needed to excel in the labor market. The camp contributed to achieving several outputs, including enabling participants to develop a detailed career development plan, present a project action plan to achieve career development goals, and awarding participants a certificate in the Career Management Program (CMP). The “Summer Career Guidance Camp” comes within the Student and Career Support Center’s efforts to contribute to achieving Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s 2025 strategic plan objectives, aimed at delivering competitive outputs for the national development journey through integration with the labor market and the enhancement of skills, knowledge, and values.
