Program mission: To prepare scientifically and professionally qualified female electronics engineers equipped with strong research and leadership skills, capable of effectively utilizing modern technologies and working efficiently across diverse areas of electronics engineering, in order to to keep pace with changes in the job market and contribute meaningfully to community development.

About The Academic Program

Nature and Goals of the Program

The program is designed to prepare students to become engineers capable of keeping pace with modern technologies and ongoing advancements across various areas of electronics engineering. This is achieved by providing a strong scientific foundation in the fundamentals of the discipline and by equipping students with the necessary analytical, experimental, and computational tools needed to identify engineering problems and projects, and to develop advanced solutions that take ethical and social considerations into account. This ensures that graduates are able to adapt to the continuous developments in electronics engineering applications.

Career opportunities

Program graduates are expected to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to perform effectively in various technical fields of electrical engineering, whether in governmental institutions or private sector companies. According to the Unified Saudi Occupational Classification, female electrical engineers can hold positions such as Electronics Engineer, Device Electronics Engineer, Automation Engineer, Electrical Wiring Engineer, and Medical Devices Engineer. These roles enable graduates to apply their expertise in the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems and devices, thereby contributing to technological advancement and supporting the infrastructure needs of both the public and private sectors.
