Brief
I am an Associate Professor of Quantum Optics and Spectroscopy at the Department of Physics, College of Science. I am a member of several scientific societies, and my research interests include nanomaterials, solar energy, laser spectroscopy, semiconductors, two-dimensional (2D) materials, clean energy generation and storage, and density functional theory (DFT) simulations. I have led and contributed to various research projects and published numerous peer-reviewed articles in internationally recognized journals in the physical sciences. I was also awarded a Fulbright Visiting Scholar Fellowship at the University of California, San Diego, UCSD (2019–2020).
