Brief
As an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with a passion for teaching and the specialty itself, I have dedicated 18 years of my professional life in institutes with robust academic programs adopting the tripartite mission of didactic teaching, clinical and research activities. Since 2007, I have a mixed experience in training undergraduate and post graduate students at various levels under the domain of oral and maxillofacial surgery. I have also been a part of various clinical teams interested in patients with special needs, oral implantology, orthognathic surgery and maxillofacial trauma.
I firmly believe that premium care to oral surgical patients can be delivered only based on good research. Hence, I stretched my focus to this area, developing research skills, and publishing in peer reviewed journals, at the same time fostering the importance of evidence- based oral surgery to the next generation.
