Brief
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. With a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from The University of Nottingham, I have a background in various laboratory techniques, including protein expression (bac-to-bac baculovirus expression system), protein purification, conventional and USER cloning, cell culture (mammalian, bacterial and insect cells), tubulin cycling and labelling, microtubule assembling, and advanced microscopy. My research interests focus on the role of the kinesin family of motor proteins in regulating cytoskeletal dynamics and their relation to various human diseases, and I have received awards for my presentations in this field. I hold an MSc in Applied Biomolecular Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Biology, both from The University of Nottingham and Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, respectively. I am actively involved in curriculum design for bachelor students, and my teaching experience includes conducting lectures and lab demonstrations, developing practical lessons, and providing academic support to students.
