Brief

Dr. Ghada Atteia is an experienced Associate Professor at the Information Technology Department, College of Computer and Information Sciences, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. She is currently the Director of Teaching and Learning Quality Department at the College of Computer and Information Sciences, PNU. She is a former Chair of the Information Technology program and the Head of ABET Academic Accreditation Committee. During being the program Chair, the IT department has been granted the ABET Accreditation. Dr. Ghada established the Cybersecurity Bachelor Program within the IT department. She was awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the Interdisciplinary of Electrical and Computer Engineering & Geomatics Engineering from the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She was the recipient of a number of Doctoral Awards from 2012 through 2014, and the L.R. (Dick) Newby Memorial Award from the University of Calgary. She is Microsoft-certified in AI and a certified Training of Trainers (ToT) from the Professional Development Deanship at PNU. Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, machine and deep learning, image processing, remote sensing, Synthetic Aperture Radar, polarimetry, and renewable energy.
