College of Education at Princess Nourah Bint AbdulRahman University aims to raise the level of the college's performance and stimulate the performance of its employees, hence, it has paid great attention to faculty members and support cadres from administrations in alignment with the university's efforts aimed at establishing a culture of excellence and creativity. The College of Education's initiative in launching the College's Excellence Award “Mumayyun" was a reference point for honoring and appreciating the distinguished faculty members. The award aims mainly to motivate competition, and develop and build the capabilities of the faculty members. It is an annual award that is subject to criteria in evaluating female candidates. The award includes four main categories:● Distinguished University Professor category.● Distinguished Administrative staff Category.● Distinguished educational department category.● female students' list (dean's honorary list).
The award aims to appreciate the efforts of everyone belonging to the College of Education at Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman University, and to create a positive competitive environment that supports excellence and creativity in a way that achieves the mission of the college and the university. It also aims to:● Raising the level of performance of the college and its affiliates and to elevate them to the ranks of distinguished colleges locally and internationally, through:● Appreciating and highlighting the distinguished practices in the College of Education at Princess Nourah Bint AbdulRahman University, highlighting achievements and stimulating educational and administrative performance.● Spreading the culture of excellence, creativity, commitment, quality and mastery.● Appreciating the faculty and staff of the college and highlighting their achievements, efforts, and distinction to advance academic, educational and administrative work.● Encouraging positive and commendable competition between faculty members and striving for creativity, distinction and achievement.● Encouraging students to achieve scientific achievement and creativity, and to participate in the service of the university and society, and to appreciate, reward and encourage the distinguished ones.● To fuel the spirit of competition between female students who desire distinction and creativity, to honor them, and to urge them to obtain scientific awards.● Activating college agencies, educational departments and administrative offices for evaluation mechanisms for members of the educational and administrative staff, and working to improve their performance.● Motivating faculty members to use modern educational practices to achieve excellence in teaching performance.

In support of Vision 2030, Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University launched the Education and Learning Lab initiative to develop educational practices and enhance the quality of university education.
As part of the implementation of university initiatives, the College of Education and Human Development, represented by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, activated the initiative within the college, with the aim of empowering faculty members and raising their professional competencies, in collaboration with a number of university colleges.

The Teaching and Learning Lab aims to be a leading and inspiring platform for the development of university teaching practices, enabling active learning supported by technology and artificial intelligence, achieving excellence in academic performance in line with international standards, and contributing to the well-being and quality of life of learners.
Mission:
To provide an integrated professional development environment for faculty members by activating effective teaching practices, enabling professional learning communities, and building educational partnerships that contribute to raising the quality of education and lifelong learning, and support the achievement of the university's future vision in digital transformation and educational innovation.
Description of the Teaching and Learning Lab initiative:
The initiative aims to develop the professional skills of faculty members at Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University by applying high-impact teaching strategies to achieve the second goal of the university's strategic plan.

Green Education
The College of Education and Human Development strives to contribute to achieving the objectives of the national transformation programs within Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. In line with our responsibility toward the nation's initiatives to raise awareness about environmental issues and preserve and improve the environment, the College has launched the "Green Education" initiative. This initiative links education with sustainable environmental development by relying on effective practices that contribute to environmental conservation. It also seeks to leverage the College's resources and partnerships to enhance the quality of life within the university. In this context, the College has implemented six projects, starting with the Environmental Awareness Project, followed by the Afforestation and Agriculture Project, the Energy Consumption Rationalization Project within the College, the Recycling Project, the Consumer Concepts Regulation Project, and finally, the Sports and Sustainable Health Project.
Digital Hour
Professional development is a phased and ongoing process that is also linked to changes, needs, and crises. It helps in improving and developing the professional knowledge and skills of the administrative staff. Based on this, initiatives and programs for professional development have been proposed and launched for the female staff of the College of Education and Human Development. One of these programs, the "Digital Hour - Phase Two," has been launched as a continuation of the first phase, which took place in the second semester of last year (1445 AH).
The program focuses on training the administrative staff on some of the most important basic electronic skills required for regular use in the workplace. An hour is allocated each week to explain these skills, ensuring that employees can understand and practically apply them.
