Vice Deanship for Academic Affairs
The Vice Deanship of Academic Affairs at the College of Education and Human Development plays a vital role in achieving the college's vision and mission in the field of education. It is responsible for developing educational and training plans and programs that meet the highest scientific and professional standards. The vice deanship also oversees the progress of the educational process, ensuring the implementation of regulations and policies within the college. Hence, our ultimate goal is to elevate educational programs and achieve excellence in teaching and learning.
Department of Quality in Education and Learning
The Department of Quality in Education and Learning at the College of Education and Human Development operates under the College's Vice Deanship of Academic Affairs. Its primary responsibilities include implementing academic accreditation standards, continuously evaluating curricula, and gathering feedback from industry professionals. The department also works to enhance faculty development related to the educational process, in coordination with the Excellence in Teaching and Learning Program. Additionally, it identifies the most effective and current teaching practices in specialized fields and develops plans to integrate these practices in collaboration with the Excellence in Teaching and Learning Program. Lastly, the department oversees the evaluation of educational outcomes, identifies areas for improvement, and provides support to faculty in the evaluation process, in coordination with the academic departments.

The Vice Deanship of Educational Affairs manages all aspects of the educational process through its various committees, including the Registration and Schedules Committee, the Transfer and Equivalency Committee, the Examination Process Committee, and the Academic Documents and Records Committee.

Department of Library and Learning Resources
- First Floor (1,800):
The first floor features books, self-service borrowing machines, an electronic copying device, and reading tables that support users in their research activities. It also includes a computer for accessing the unified catalog of all university libraries. The library offers reference services, answers user inquiries, and facilitates their research process.
- Second Floor (2,800):
The second floor is equipped with search devices for users, a meeting room, and research suites. Additionally, the meeting room and cultural activity spaces are available for booking.
Library Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Objectives:
• Oversee the college library, ensuring it provides and updates resources according to the college's needs while coordinating with the central library.
• Collect user statistics and service data, and submit them to the central library.
E-Learning Unit
The E-Learning Unit is dedicated to raising awareness about e-learning among all staff and students at the College of Education and Human Development, while addressing any inquiries related to e-learning. Objectives:
Vice Deanship for Research and Innovation
The Vice Deanship focuses on building an integrated system for research, innovation, and business, strengthening local and international partnerships, and developing and implementing quality post-graduate programs in cooperation with all college departments. A significant part of its responsibilities is to create a conducive environment for students and faculty to conduct research and innovate, as well as follow up on their scientific publications. Among the departments within the deanery are the Department of Postgraduate Programs, the Partnerships and Social Responsibility Department, the Business and Project Management Office, and the Scientific Research and Innovation Committee work together to accomplish these goals:
The Department of Postgraduate Programs
The department strives to achieve the university's vision of being a beacon of knowledge and values for women through the introduction of quality postgraduate programs. The department supervises the following programs:
Master of Educational Leadership (Department of Educational Planning and Management).
Master of Knowledge Management (Department of Educational Planning and Management).
Higher Diploma in E-Learning (Department of Educational Technology.
Higher Diploma in Teaching in English EMI (Department of Curriculum and Instruction).
Partnerships and Social Responsibility Department
The Department coordinates with the Strategic Partnerships Department to engage public and private partnerships and enhance collaboration to achieve the college's goals and enhance its specializations. A variety of tasks are carried out by the department, including:
Investing in partnerships to serve the college plan and providing students and faculty members with specialized community partnerships in coordination with the academic departments and student clubs.
Fostering a culture of volunteerism and social responsibility and encouraging investment in human capital.
Communicating with external parties, forming partnerships, and providing job opportunities for students in coordination with the academic departments and the Vice Deanery of Educational Affairs.
Business Office and Project Management
The office supervises and monitors the implementation of college projects. The most prominent of these projects are:
Nourah Houses of Educational Expertise are the Digital House, the Consultation and Professional Development House and the Talent House.
Scientific Research and Innovation Unit
The office provides many services to support scientific research in the college, including:
Supervising the progress of research work funded by faculty members.
Liaising with academic departments and encouraging faculty members to apply for funded research programs.
Strengthening cultural and scientific ties and links with associations, organizations, institutions, universities, and scientific bodies interested in scientific research.
Organizing scientific activities and events such as conferences, workshops, research seminars, lectures, symposiums, and training courses in cooperation with academic departments and relevant university authorities.
Providing consultancy with expertise in research fields.
Providing plagiarism check service for all researchers in the college.
