About the Department

The Department of Educational Planning and Management is considered one of the prestigious departments at the College of Education and Human Development. It has a distinguished presence in the college and university by contributing significantly to the levels of teaching, scientific research, and community service. Faculty members actively engage in teaching postgraduate programs, teach elective and free courses for undergraduate students both within and outside the college, and conducting various workshops and training programs. The department began its academic activities as two independent departments, formerly named as the Department of Administration and Educational Planning and the Department of Educational Foundations, in the year 1427H (2006). The department was named Educational Foundation Department when Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University was established. The name was originated from one of the tracks named Education and Psychology Department.
