1- Applied College Club
The Vision
Creating a stimulating and motivating environment that provides various student activities and encourage teamwork spirit.
Goals
- Improving the college's outcomes and enhancing its competitive capabilities in the labor market.
- Developing students' personal, social, and professional skills.
- Helping students to discover and refine their talents and fulfill their potentials.
- Encouraging collaborative communication and enhancing the spirit of initiative and teamwork among students through participation in events and activities
- Improving students' leadership skills by empowering them in leadership positions such as club president and committee heads.
- Providing career guidance that supports students in building their professional paths and making informed decisions.
- Organizing events that contribute to raising academic and professional awareness.
2- Applied Sports Club
The Vision
Creating a supportive environment for students to develop their athletic abilities and skills, exchange experiences, and promote physical activities and sports participation contributing to a healthier society.
Goals
- Offering a variety of sports and physical activities that meet student needs.
- Participating in local, regional, and international sport events.
- Attracting athletic talent students and qualifying them to present the Applied College and PNU in local and international forums.
- Enhancing health awareness among student.
Second: Student Trips
These are official visits conducted by groups of students to academic institutions within or outside the Kingdom, with the aim of enriching their academic and professional experiences.
Types of Student Trips
Academic Trips: These are trips organized by the university to support students in in developing their academic and specialized skills.
Training Trips: These are trips organized by the university to enhance students' personal and leadership skills.
Objectives of Student Trips
- To encourage distinguished and talented students to enhance their life experiences through both practical and academic engagement.
- To improve students' educational and pedagogical skills.
- To foster effective communication and group interaction among students, as well as with their peers at other universities.
- To complement theoretical knowledge with field studies, providing students with practical experience to improve their professional competencies.
- To offer outstanding students the opportunity to represent the university at conferences, seminars, festivals, and cultural and academic events at both local and international levels.
- To raise students' awareness of the cultural, historical, touristic, and developmental value of other countries.
Eligibility Criteria for Student Trip Participation
- The participating student must be enrolled in one of the PNU's colleges.
- If the student is participating with a research paper or innovation, the submission must be under her name and officially affiliated with PNU.
- The student must not have any disciplinary sanctions on record.
- The student must hold a valid passport.
- The student must have a written consent from her legal guardian.
- The student must sign the Student Trip Charter.
- Diploma and postgraduate students enrolled in paid programs are eligible to apply for student trips up to two times during their study period, provided that the participation is for representing PNU.
