Nature and Goals of the Program

The specialization aims to qualify female students who are capable of working in health facilities with high professional competence in infection control departments, by providing them with basic knowledge and applied skills in the field of infection control, developing their abilities in individual and group work and community service, and developing their skills for lifelong learning to keep pace with the latest developments in the field of infection control, and developing their capabilities in developing methods of control The contagion and the severity of its spread in the community.

1. Qualifying infection control technicians to work in health facilities with high professional efficiency in the central infection control departments in hospitals.

1.Identify basic concepts in human biology, pathology, microbiology, immunology, and disease pathology.
2.Describe the principles of public health and infection control in sound scientific language.
3.Presentation of principles and uses of infection prevention and control measures, including sterilization and disinfection procedures.

5.Discuss the etiology, modes of transmission, and sources, and the epidemiology of infectious diseases including health-acquired infections.
