Applied College Signs Two Memorandums of Understanding in Aviation, Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality

The Applied College at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University signed two Memorandums of Understanding to provide support, empowerment, and training opportunities for its students in the fields of aviation, travel, tourism, and hospitality. This step reflects the university’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with vital sectors, improving the quality of its outputs, and enhancing its competitiveness in the labor market. The first MoU was signed with the Saudi Ground Services Company to establish frameworks for mutual understanding and cooperation between the college and the company in areas of shared interest within the aviation, travel, and tourism sector. The cooperation includes the qualification and training of university students through specialized programs, promoting research projects, organizing periodic meetings and workshops, sharing programs, and exchanging expertise in institutional planning and excellence, in addition to the exchange of faculty expertise. The college was represented in the signing by the Deputy CEO of the Applied College, Dr. Badriya Al-Muzayni, while the Saudi Ground Services Company was represented by the company’s Executive Vice President of Human Resources, Mr. Ahmed Al-Zahiri. In the same context, the second MoU was signed with Caterion Catering Holding Company to establish fruitful cooperation in the field of training by offering training opportunities for Applied College students at Caterion. This will contribute to developing their scientific and practical skills. The college was represented in the signing by the Deputy CEO of the Applied College, Dr. Badriya Al-Muzayni, while Caterion Catering Holding Company was represented by the company’s CEO, Mr. Wajdi Al-Ghaban. The signing of these two MoUs comes within the framework of Princess Nourah University’s efforts to expand its strategic partnerships with the public and private sectors, offer innovative educational programs that keep pace with labor market requirements, and provide high-quality training opportunities that contribute to preparing outstanding national cadres capable of leading development in the tourism and aviation sectors.
