To Enhance Academic–Professional Integration: The Applied College and the Chefs’ Cooperative Society Sign a Memorandum of Understanding

29 December 2025 The Applied College at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University and the Chefs’ Cooperative Society signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Sunday, 28 December 2025, with the aim of strengthening integration between academic education and labor market requirements in the culinary arts and hospitality sector through cooperation in training and professional development. The areas of collaboration outlined in the MoU include providing career guidance and building future career pathways for female students, cooperating in cooperative training programs, and exchanging academic and professional expertise in the culinary arts sector. The agreement also encompasses organizing training courses and professional forums, as well as benefiting from the expertise of chefs and specialists in the culinary arts field. The MoU was signed on behalf of the Applied College by the College’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Rana Al-Uqaili, while the Chefs’ Cooperative Society was represented by the Chairman of its Board of Directors, Mr. Ali Al-Yousef. The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding reflects the shared objectives of both parties, which include supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of culinary arts, contributing to the development of national competencies, and achieving sustainable developmental impact.
