The Deanship of Development and Quality at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University concluded yesterday, Tuesday, 17 February 2026, the “Jahiziyah” standardized assessments, aimed at evaluating students expected to graduate during the current academic year 2025–2026. This comes as part of the fourth phase of the initiative launched by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission to enhance the readiness of Saudi university graduates for entry into the labor market. The assessments included bachelor’s degree students from 21 majors across the College of Science, College of Law, College of Engineering, College of Computer and Information Sciences, College of Business Administration, College of Languages, and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. The objective was to measure the extent to which students have achieved the required learning outcomes in their respective disciplines and to strengthen alignment between academic program outputs and labor market requirements. “Jahiziyah” is one of the initiatives launched by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission targeting final-year undergraduate students in higher education institutions, contributing to the quality of education and, consequently, to the quality of the workforce. It also aims to increase employment rates, foster innovation and entrepreneurship, enhance productivity, and strengthen the ability to utilize advanced technologies and products. The implementation of the “Jahiziyah” standardized assessments at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University falls within the efforts of the Deanship of Development and Quality and contributes to the objectives of the university’s strategic plan, which seeks to enhance the competitiveness of its graduates in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 by ensuring that educational outcomes meet labor market needs in knowledge, skills, and values.
