The Foundation Year Program Administration for Health Colleges at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, in cooperation with the Academic Affairs Department at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz University Hospital, organized today, Sunday 8 February 2026, the “Educational and Health Awareness Day,” under the patronage of the Acting President of the University, Dr. Fawzia bint Suleiman Al-Amro. The event was held at the University Conference and Convention Center. The fifth edition of the event aimed to enhance students’ awareness of health academic programs within the foundation year and provide opportunities for students to meet faculty members from health colleges at the university, as well as healthcare practitioners at the hospital. This initiative sought to link educational and professional pathways with practical application in an integrated educational health environment, contributing to enhancing students’ readiness for the labor market. The event included several accompanying booths, each dedicated to a specific health program and equipped with digital screens and awareness materials to enhance clarity of information and provide an interactive experience, enabling students to make informed decisions when selecting their specializations. This initiative aligns with the efforts of the Foundation Year Program Administration for Health Colleges to achieve the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s strategic plan by preparing competitive outputs in scientific and practical fields, reflecting the university’s commitment to qualifying its students and preparing competent healthcare professionals who effectively contribute to serving the health sector.
