The College of Computer and Information Sciences announces the start of registration for the training course "Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity"

The College of Computer and Information Sciences, represented by the "Nourah Tech" Computer Services and Consulting Office at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, is opening registration for the training course "Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity," Which will be from January 18th to 22nd, 2026, for all interested individuals from within and outside the university. The course focuses on developing essential cybersecurity skills and raising awareness of methods for protecting systems and information. It covers several topics, including: an introduction to cybersecurity and information security; cryptography; security attacks and breaches and methods of defense; and an explanation of the basic principles and methods of ethical hacking and examining targeted systems. The course also includes an overview of the different stages of a breach, from scanning and gaining access to penetration, maintaining access and erasing traces, and preparing reports. Finally, it provides an overview of social engineering as a key component of modern cyberattacks. The training course provides participants with an opportunity to acquire practical skills in analyzing security vulnerabilities and understanding the mechanisms of cyberattacks, in order to obtain a certificate accredited by the college, which contributes to preparing for obtaining the (CEH) certificate specializing in ethical hacking This contributes to enhancing their professional readiness in the job market in the fields of cybersecurity and information technology.
