The Women’s Leadership Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University celebrated today, Tuesday, 16 December 2025, the graduation of the second cohort of the “Qiyadiyah” leadership program. The ceremony was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, and in the presence of a number of leaders from the entities participating in the program, at the Women’s Leadership Center on campus. The celebration marked the graduation of 45 female leaders, representing more than 40 entities from various government, private, and nonprofit sectors, after completing an integrated training journey designed to enhance renewed leadership thinking and build professional capabilities. The developmental methodology combined the best global practices in delivery and application, and included specialized training, executive coaching, and practical simulations reflecting workplace challenges across different sectors. Her Excellency the Acting President of Princess Nourah University, Dr. Fawzia bint Sulaiman Al-Amro, explained that “the Qiyadiyah program is an extension of the university’s vision to empower national female leaders, prepare them academically and professionally, and build leadership skills aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Human Capability Development Program.” She added that “the program signals a new phase in the leadership path, one in which qualified Saudi women advance to create positive and sustainable impact and transform gains into practices that elevate the quality of national work.” The ceremony included honoring the graduates of the program’s second cohort, as well as recognizing program partners and supporting entities in appreciation of their contributions to empowering women with modern leadership and decision-making skills, and in strengthening the center’s role in supporting female leaders and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The event also featured an accompanying exhibition titled “Qiyadiyah Imprint,” where students from the College of Design and Arts showcased artistic works expressing the leadership identity of female students and their ability to influence, embodying cultural and visual dimensions and enhancing creativity through leadership empowerment. It is worth noting that the “Qiyadiyah” program was launched through a strategic partnership with Alinma Bank, offering an integrated leadership journey that combined global expertise with Saudi identity. The program included applied workshops, professional mentoring sessions, business simulations, field visits, and interactive activities that contributed to refining participants’ leadership skills. The program also enabled participants to obtain two accredited certificates—from the Women’s Leadership Center and Cornell University—further enhancing program quality and aligning its outcomes with international standards.
