Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, represented by the College of Languages – Department of Translation (French Program), is organizing the Saudi–Francophone Forum on Monday, 1 December 2025, at the University’s Conference and Seminar Center. This event celebrates the connection between culture and knowledge through the French language, which serves as a bridge for communication between the Kingdom and French-speaking countries. The forum highlights the presence of the French language in the Kingdom and its role in strengthening cultural and diplomatic relations. It also sheds light on linguistic diversity in Saudi universities and the contributions of national talents proficient in French in presenting the Kingdom’s image to the world. The forum further explores the opportunities offered by the French language in tourism, culture, and luxury industries, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in empowering national capabilities and enhancing international communication. This event is the first of its kind among Saudi universities, bringing together academics, students, and enthusiasts of French language and culture for a day that celebrates dialogue, diversity, and cultural exchange between the Arab and Francophone worlds.
