The Deanship of Development and Quality at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized a series of training programs and workshops aimed at enhancing the efficiency of faculty members and empowering female leaders in higher education through distinguished academic and leadership training. The Deanship conducted a three-day training program titled “Performance Management by Objectives and Results,” targeting vice deans, department directors, and quality and program managers from the academic sector. The program introduced the history of objectives, methods of formulating objectives and key results, and best practices, and included an international certificate from LEORON Institute. The Deanship also delivered training courses within the program “Empowering Academic Department Heads,” including “Electronic Systems at the University,” which introduced the University’s electronic systems and digital knowledge resources, and “Evaluation Mechanism Using the Performance Charter,” which explained performance evaluation methods and regulations. Additionally, through the Excellence in Teaching and Learning Program, the Deanship delivered a training session titled “UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF) and Teaching and Learning Fellowship,” introducing faculty members to the British fellowship, its benefits, application requirements, and the core knowledge and professional values of the framework. These initiatives support the Deanship’s role in achieving the University’s 2025 strategic plan through professional development, academic talent enhancement, and excellence in teaching and learning.
