The Deanship of Student Affairs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized more than 20 workshops targeting female students and graduates of the University to professionally enhance their creative, skill-based, and knowledge competencies, and to promote digital literacy in a way that creates entrepreneurial employment opportunities. The workshops were implemented under the general tracks of the Student Activities Plan, which includes supporting initiatives that fall under three main tracks: the Skills and Values Track, which includes the initiatives “Vision Generation Competencies” and “Student Leadership Qualification”; the Technical Proficiency Track, which includes the initiative “Data Science and Analysis”; and the Volunteering and Social Development Track, represented by the “Responsible Community” initiative. The Deanship addressed a wide range of topics aimed at enriching students in various fields to prepare them for future jobs. These included legal and technical skills in contract drafting, an introduction to data science, professional digital transformation, inclusive leadership, personal strategic planning, and time management. In addition, the Deanship delivered a training workshop entitled “Effective Communication” as part of the Samuq Program, to develop effective communication skills, build professional and social relationships, and map out pathways to the labor market. It also offered a training course titled “The Art of Public Influence” under the Volunteer Work License Program, aimed at enhancing communication skills, adapting to different personality types, and improving both personal and professional interaction. These initiatives come as part of the Deanship of Student Affairs’ contribution to achieving Princess Nourah University’s Strategic Plan 2025 by providing competitive graduates, excellence in teaching and learning, and professional support and career guidance to empower students to contribute to building the future.
