About The Academic Program

Nature and Goals of the Program

The major aims to qualify female students as specialized cadres in the tourism and travel sector by providing them with the knowledge and skills related to tourism and travel management, including organizing and managing tourist trips and organizing events, training on ticket and hotel reservations, evaluating travel destinations, and how to determine the appropriate places to visit, according to the seasons and travel objectives.

Program Details

  1. 1.Preparing scientifically and professionally qualified graduates in the field of tourism and travel who are able to compete in the labor market.
  2. 2.Building the capabilities of female graduates to deal with various variables and developments in the field of tourism and travel.
  3. 3.Building strategic partnerships with government and private institutions in the field of tourism and travel to develop training.
  4. 4.Proposing activities and initiatives that contribute to increasing tourism awareness and community service.
  5. 5-Students are prepared for the Amadeus Professional Certificate exam by studying the following locations: Introduction to the Travel and Tourism Industry, Intercultural Communication, Travel Agency Management and Flight Reservation Systems.
  1. 1.Define tourism and travel as a phenomenon and as a business system.
  2. 2.Description of Saudi tourism products and services.
  3. 3.To recognize the definitions, terminologies, and concepts of tourism and travel.
  4. 4.To plan resources for effective and efficient tourism operations.
  5. 5. To use knowledge of best practices to further sustainability (economic, environmental, and cultural/social) in the industry.
  6. 6-To Manage the needs and requirements of different types of tourist.
  7. 7-To work collaboratively in groups, both as a leader and a team member, in diverse environments, learning from and contributing to the learning of others.
