About the Department:

The Student Services Department fosters a supportive environment for students by providing services that enhance social development, offer psychological and social support, and promote intellectual awareness, ensuring their stability throughout their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervising student club activities, sports, events, competitions, and theater productions at the college in coordination with the Deanship of Student Affairs. 
2. Overseeing student volunteer work in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs.  
3. Providing support services, including grants and loans, student rights, student cooperation, and locker facilities. 
4. Offering psychological and social counseling services, as well as specialized support for students with disabilities. 
5. Providing alumni services and maintaining positive relationships with graduates in coordination with the university's Alumni Office. 
6. Offering skill development support and career guidance for students and alumni in collaboration with the Students Support and Career Guidance Center at the university.  
7. Issuing permits for student projects and events held within academic departments. 
8. Coordinating with the Partnerships and Social Responsibility Department on student volunteer initiatives.
   

Affiliated Units and Offices:

• Student Activities and Clubs Unit: (Science Club – Sports Club) The clubs serve as hubs for scientific, cultural, social, athletic, and recreational activities, designed to discover and nurture students' talents.
• Psychological and Social Counseling Unit: This unit assesses and provides services for students facing social, health, psychological, or economic challenges, as well as for students with disabilities.
• Student Rights Unit: The unit focuses on protecting student rights according to university regulations, ensuring a campus environment that promotes student behavior in line with Islamic values and the university's mission.
• Career Counseling Office and Skills Portfolio: This office assists students in making informed career decisions, in collaboration with the Student Support and Career Guidance Center, while also maintaining a record of the certificates and skills students have acquired.
• Locker Office: This office offers locker rental services to students, in partnership with the Student Fund at the Deanship of Student Affairs.
• Alumni Office: This office supports graduates of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, strengthening connections with alumni in line with the university's goals and Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
