About the Agency:
The Vice Deanship of Academic Affairs is a fundamental component of the College of Computer and Information Sciences. Its various departments and units oversee the educational process and ensure the quality of its programs, contributing to the achievement of the college's vision and mission in preparing outstanding women in terms of scientific, research, and technical skills within an interactive learning environment, managed by qualified competencies. This is in alignment with the vision of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University through community and global partnerships. The agency is also responsible for providing and overseeing an appropriate educational environment, including classrooms and specialized laboratories, both administratively and technically, to deliver theoretical lectures and practical training according to the highest academic standards.
Key Responsibilities of the Vice-Deanship for Academic Affairs:
1. Overseeing the implementation of the regulations and policies governing study and examination procedures for the undergraduate level, and ensuring their proper application by the academic units within the college.
2. Supervising all academic programs offered by the college.
3. Monitoring the educational process within the college and providing an appropriate learning environment that supports high-quality and distinguished education.
4. Proposing new academic programs for the college or enhancing existing ones in coordination with the academic departments, and following up on their implementation after obtaining the necessary approvals.
5. Supervising the work of quality committees, including program quality assurance, examinations, evaluation, and curriculum development.
6. Overseeing the implementation of the college's Quality Management System and ensuring compliance with academic accreditation standards.
