​​​​​​​The College of Computer and Information Sciences was established by virtue of the royal approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, no. 3030MB, and dated 23/3/1428 AH, on the decision taken by the Council for Higher Education. The college was established to fulfill the growing need for higher education in the many fields of Computer Sciences, Information Systems​, and Information technology.​
