The General Administration of Human Resources, represented by the Training and Development Unit at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, organized a training program entitled “Appreciation and Recognition as Performance Enablers” on Monday and Tuesday, December 29–30, 2025. The program aimed to enhance job performance efficiency and promote a culture of appreciation and recognition in the workplace. The program included practical modules and interactive discussions and was attended by a number of female and male administrative staff members of the University. It was delivered by Dr. Mona Al-Ghaith, a specialist in history and archaeology from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, contributing to the exchange of expertise and the reinforcement of positive workplace practices. The program focused on strengthening participants’ understanding of the role of appreciation and recognition in improving job performance, motivating employees, supporting job stability, and enhancing institutional belonging. This, in turn, positively impacts the quality of work in alignment with the University’s objectives to develop human capital. This program comes as part of the efforts of the General Administration of Human Resources, through the Training and Development Unit, to contribute to achieving the goals of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025, which aims to prepare competitive competencies and institutional enablers that support excellence and sustainability.
