General Department of Human Resources Organizes a Training Course on “Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace”

The General Department of Human Resources, represented by the Training and Development Unit at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, organized a training course entitled “Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace” on Monday, 26 January 2026. The course was attended by approximately 20 female beneficiaries from the University’s administrative leadership and was held at the Central Library on campus. The course focused on raising awareness of emotional intelligence and its importance in the workplace, improving the management of emotions and self-regulation, and enhancing communication and empathy skills. It also aimed to develop participants’ abilities in problem-solving and conflict management, thereby contributing to improved performance quality and the creation of a positive work environment. This course comes as part of the roles undertaken by the General Department of Human Resources, represented by the Training and Development Unit, in contributing to the achievement of the strategic plan objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. This is accomplished through developing the skills of administrative leaders and enhancing their professional competencies in a manner that aligns with institutional work requirements and strengthens the quality of administrative performance at the University.
