1. Oversee the implementation of regulations, policies, and decisions governing the employment status of university employees, monitor any changes or updates to their personal and employment status, and take the necessary actions accordingly.

  2. Oversee the planning of the University’s human resources needs.

  3. Participate in preparing the University’s annual budget proposal with regard to human resources, including their various categories and types, in coordination with the relevant academic and administrative units.

  4. Oversee the identification of training needs for the University’s administrative staff.

  5. Monitor the processes and activities related to training at the University and ensure that the necessary training and development needs are met to enhance and develop the capabilities of the University’s administrative staff.

  6. Oversee the implementation of the Human Resources System (GRP), monitor the updating of information, and work on its development in coordination with the various departments.

  7. Prepare the Department’s annual plan and implement it upon approval.

  8. Oversee the University’s recruitment and talent acquisition processes.

  9. Assist and coordinate with the University’s academic and administrative units in all matters related to their employees’ affairs and provide these units with data and information concerning their employment status.

  10. Develop programs to integrate employees into the University’s current and future priorities and projects, strengthen their engagement and sense of belonging, and translate the University’s work values into positive behaviors that support its vision and mission.

  11. Coordinate with government entities and agencies concerned with human resources affairs at the University and the funding of their development and modernization programs.

  12. Oversee the provision of the necessary technical consultations to all organizational units of the entity on matters related to human resources, and provide them with relevant data and information.

  13. Oversee internal communication processes at the University.​
