About the Department
The main aims of the department include; achieving institutional excellence through enhancing organizational structures, legalising all tasks and processes, adopting change management practices, and promoting a culture of institutional excellence.
Tasks
- Undertaking activities related to the development and updating of guidelines organizational structures, tasks, and responsibilities based on the university's strategic direction.
- Managing documentation for all policies and procedures related to the university’s various departments.
- Sorting the regulations and decisions related to organizational structures.
- Developing and supervising change initiatives in policies, processes , and procedures in different units to implement standards and concepts of institutional excellence based on performance evaluation results.
- Fostering a culture of institutional excellence by improving policies and procedures across various departments and holding relevant forums.
- Overseeing the University’s participation in institutional excellence awards and relevant local and international frameworks.
- Providing support tp target groups to achieve efficiency in institutional excellence performance.
Units
Organizational Development Unit: The unit aims to follow up on changes in policies, regulations, organizational structures, systems, and processes in line with developments inside and outside the university, and to provide the necessary support to the relevant parties.
Change Management Unit: The unit aims to raise the level of the university by enhancing change processes for the purpose of development to reach the desired local and global targets. It is also concerned with enhancing the role of management in serving the entire university community by spreading awareness of the concepts and foundations of institutional excellence.
