The Academic Accreditation Department develops and monitors plans for institutional and program accreditation at the national and international levels. It also provides guidance and support to units preparing for accreditation and oversees the implementation and continuous improvement of the PNU Quality Management System (PNU-QMS).
Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor the University's academic accreditation plans.
- Provide technical oversight and logistical support to the University's development and quality units.
- Coordinate with the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC) on institutional and program accreditation.
- Monitor academic programs' compliance with ETEC accreditation requirements and standards.
- Monitor the implementation of the PNU Quality Management System (PNU-QMS) across colleges.
- Contribute to developing mechanisms for using digital technologies to enhance quality assurance and automate quality processes.
- Prepare progress reports on institutional and program accreditation.
Digital Quality Management System (Jadeer)
Objectives:
- Digitally automate and govern quality processes.
- Manage national and international accreditation requirements and standards digitally.
- Enable University staff to use the Quality Management System (Jadeer).
- Provide quality reports at various levels to support results-based improvement.
