​​​About the Department

​The Academic Accreditation Department works on developing and monitoring necessary plans for both institutional and programmatic accreditation at the national and international levels. Additionally, it provides support and assistance to entities preparing for accreditation. Furthermore, it actively oversees the implementation of the Quality Management System (PNU-QMS) and continually works on its development.


Tasks

  • Preparing and follow up on plans related to academic accreditation at the university.
  • Providing technical supervision and logistical support to the development and quality units at the university.
  • Communicate with the National Center for Academic Evaluation and Accreditation regarding institutional and program accreditation.
  • Following- up on meeting the requirements for academic accreditation according to the conditions of the National Center for Academic Evaluation and Accreditation for academic programs.
  • Following- up​ on activating the PNU-QMS quality management system in the colleges.
  • Contributing to developing proposed mechanisms for utilizing electronic technologies to control quality and automate its processes.
  • Preparing progress reports on program and institutional academic accreditation.


Electronic Quality System (جدير)

System Objectives:
  • Automate quality processes and governance electronically.
  • Manage the requirements and standards of national and international accreditations electronically.
  • Enable university personnel to use the electronic quality system.
  • Provide quality reports at different levels to enhance results-based development.
