Message from the Vice Rector

Welcome to the Vice Rectorate for Academic Affairs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. The Vice Rectorate for Academic Affairs serves as a key pillar in supporting the educational journey at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. We strive to advance the quality of teaching and learning through the continuous development of curricula and study plans, as well as the introduction of innovative academic programs that meet labor market needs and align with the Kingdom’s Vision and the University’s strategic directions. We are committed to establishing effective partnerships at the local, regional, and international levels that contribute to knowledge enrichment, advance the educational process, and enhance the University’s standing and rankings both nationally and internationally. Through a collaborative and team-oriented approach, we work closely with academic and administrative sectors to achieve our objectives and support the University’s students and affiliates. We look forward to continued success and excellence as we advance the University’s mission and contribute to the development of education in the Kingdom.

Main Tasks

  • Managing the University’s educational process and ensuring the provision of necessary resources
  • Implementing the University’s admission and registration policies and monitoring compliance with approved procedures
  • Developing academic regulations and guidelines for undergraduate education and monitoring their implementation
  • Facilitating coordination among the University’s colleges

  • Advancing teaching and learning policies to enhance targeted educational outcomes
  • Developing and enhancing academic programs in alignment with quality standards and accreditation requirements
  • Ensuring the quality of academic programs through continuous oversight to support accreditation

  • Overseeing educational institutes, foundation year programs, and their affiliated departments while monitoring performance
  • Ensuring the effective implementation of e-learning and distance learning systems
  • Supervising the development and implementation of undergraduate field training plans

  • Enhancing institutional partnerships that contribute to advancing the educational process
  • Implementing knowledge exchange programs to foster best academic practices and promote expertise sharing
  • Establishing student exchange programs with local, regional, and international educational institutions

  • Coordination with relevant stakeholders to establish academic programs and activities that contribute to enhancing the educational process within and beyond the University

  • Assessing and securing colleges’ needs for laboratories, equipment, and facilities
  • Identifying the Vice Rectorate’s staffing, equipment, and material needs and ensuring their provision

  • Representing the University at academic conferences, seminars, and committees at the local, regional, and international levels
