Collage of health and rehabilitation celebrate the world happiness day by happiness, positivity, and life quality specialist miss Areej Alslman. With an intent to spread the Culture of happiness, and positivity among the collage attributed, aiming to make it a lifestyle within the work environment, and souvenir gifts as a card with motivational phrases can be placed over the desk were given.
The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the college and several members of the administrative board with taking the precautionary measures into the account. The Dean made a speech on the occasion “we are in Saudi Arabia God blessed us with a government care about happiness, and entertainment for that they develop a special board for entertainment since 2016, and it is from our true religion our noble messenger (peace be upon him) commanded us saying:"  The most beloved deed to Allah is to make a Muslim happy" “.

The college participated in the world happiness day ceremony that was organized by the College of Art in coordination with the other university colleges by presenting a lecture regarding happiness, and positivity by Dr. Hala Alsaid; Director of the College's Community Service Unit, Assistant Professor of Psychology. The lecture explains the importance of the happiness hormone (Serotonin) as it helps in reducing depression, enhance the mood, and it can be taken naturally by:
1 – doing exercise
2 – from the sun 
3 – smiling 
4 – Gratitude.
Moreover, Dr. Hala explains the happiness concept within psychology; the individual feeling of satisfaction about their life or the quality, or the repeated feeling, emotions, and pleasant feelings that contain a lot of joy and elation. That’s mean the happiness concept within psychology is shaped according to the status of the person as the individual decided to either be happy or sad, in addition to, the fact the matter depends on them based on the nature of the surrounding circumstances and life situations that they going through. And two types of happiness was mentioned:
1 – short term happiness; it lasts for a short period and is often associated with a passing situation that the individual feels for some time, then returns to the normal emotional state related to his personality or inner being.

2 – long term happiness; it lasts for a long period. Perhaps most people are looking for this type and wish to obtain it because it gives a constant feeling of happiness, which improves lives and makes them start with all positivity and spaciousness towards life.​
